- The winners of the special presentation award trophies were:
- Tianxiao Deng - Academic Excellence Award
- Corinna Knapton - Polar Award
- Matthew Stojkovic - Citizenship Award
- Joshua Hewitt - Outstanding Graduate Award
- A special thanks to the PGSS Parent Advisory Committee for contributing the monetary award that accompanies each of these trophies

- The “Newer, Bigger, Better” DVD is now available for purchase for $10.

Cultural Activities @ PGSS As we are winding down towards the end of the year the Aboriginal Awareness Activity group has much to look back upon:
- making jewelry
- games
- Elder presentations
- field trips to CNC, UNBC, Exploration Place
- drum making workshops
- Aboriginal Awareness Week presentations.
- Although the Wednesday noon hour meetings have come to an end, we are pleased to host the last of our field trips to Vivian Lakes Trail Hike and the Hubble Homestead First Nations Education Program with guiding Elders.
- Any students interested in joining our group at any time can get permission slips from the Eagle Center or Ms. Pighin in room 640.
- Everyone is welcome to join, there are absolutely no requirements other then the ability to show respect and responsibility during the events.
- The Eagle Center will be offering drumming lessons and the school is working together to host our 2nd Annual Feast of the Forest on June 8th
- Everyone is welcome!
